Mr. Rose has almost three decades of experience with enterprise-grade managed IT and software development. This experience covers a variety of fields from biometrics analysis and quantum simulation to financial analysis for large businesses. He has direct experience developing and maintaining software in the AS/400 environment using languages such as RPG, SQL and CL and he has managed large corporate systems using Systems i integrations such as IFS, TLA Forms and PlanetPress.
He has worked in a professional capacity with a large variety of modern and legacy languages and frameworks, including Swift, RPG, COBOL, CLP, C++, Objective-C, PHP, Node.JS and React.
He received his Bachelor’s degree in Combinatorics and Optimization with a minor in Computer Science from the University of Waterloo, his Master’s degree in Applied Mathematics from the University of Calgary.
Currently, he provides Systems i support for his company, Panda Rose Consulting Studios, maintaining the systems and developing custom software for a variety of medium to large industrial clients in Alberta.
