I have been on IBM midrange platform since 1986. Started with CL and RPG development on S36 thru IBMi. All experience was in the Logistics space(Warehouse and Distribution). We did mostly custom code in the first 15 years but I moved to doing technical support and custom coding on the Manhattan PKMS Warehouse Management system for several years.I moved to IBMi System Administration about 5 years ago with Manhattan as the main application. Mostly do CLLE programs now for operational tools and work with Zebra and HP printers and mobile devices(WTXX) models with Wavelink Avalanche for a distribution center. Have set up several IBMi SSH-sFTP connections with outside carriers.
