ABOUT ME

For 15 years I have been actively involved in IBM i Basis technology.

I have helped customers in hundreds of projects to overcome challenges in the operation of their IBM i, so that they could focus on their core competence, services and products.

Before going freelance in 2021, I was employed by two IT systems consulting firms with a wide range of clients, mainly in the industrial and furniture sectors.

The customers were supported in data center operations as a managed service as well as on-premise.

In the data center operation my projects focused on monitoring, continuous service maintenance and high availability.

For the onsite customers, the focus was on the topics of OS release changes, PTF updates and hardware migrations as well as the system connection, e.g. to an Active Directory for single sign-on operation.
