Thanks for reviewing my profile and attached is a brief bio of my IT experience over the last 28 years.
Over 20 years of programming and project management experience in a "Manufacturing/Distribution environment" involving the AS/400 / iSeries platform and over 8 years of hands on management experience as CIO. I graduated from Rutgers University with Honors with a Bachelors Degree in Computer Science and a Minor in Management. My main priorities involve motivating and managing a group of (4) IT members and various consultants, ensuring that our systems and ERP are fully operational for all 3 divisions, project management with direction from end users and executive management, develop long term IT strategy for organization, negotiate software, hardware, maintenance, and telecomm contracts, oversee all hardware refreshes and software upgrades, setup our WAN MPLS and internet infrastructure using redundant VPN tunnel backup, project leader on implementing warehouse automation project for all 3 divisions, maintenance and upgrading of I-Series machines, developed IT budgets for CFO, plan for future Lotus Notes/Domino projects and allocate resources accordingly, implemented I-Series HA/DR initiatives, deployed Crystal Enterprise to aid in reporting across multiple databases, main EDI contact, eliminated all costs of purchasing special forms by implementing electronic forms software, aided in developing an interactive website and customer portal, implemented virtualization for all servers using VMware Enterprise and hosted a VMware DR site at our KY location, spearheaded various cyber security, email security, patch management, spyware, malware and a multitude of other security measures including end user cyber security training and email security training to keep Roosevelt servers and end users projected from malicious attacks.
