I have been a Programmer/Analyst for 30+ years. My concentration has been integrating EDI into our ERP, as well as making enhancements to our system. I am proficient in Microsoft Office as well, and have some Microsoft SQL Server experience.
- Performed Report Program Generator (RPG IV, RPGLE and RPG Free), Control Language Protocol
(CLP), and Data Description Specifications (DDS) Programming for EDI and non-EDI functions (PRMS software enhancements, or for added functionality)

- Responsible for implementation of various Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) Software including
Extol Business Integrator (now Cleo Clarify), Sterling Software's Gentran Workstation and
Gentran400, which included daily auditing procedures, automation, and integration with numerous platforms (AS/400 and SQL)
- Responsible for 98% of incoming PO’s to come in electronically and automated so most went
directly to shipping, as well as many other EDI transaction types. This included researching
customer(s)/vendor(s) documentation, setting up files to store the data, maps to manipulate, and
programs to process the data.
- Responsible for FTP, SFTP and AS2 connections for partners using WS_FTP, as well as Cleo Lexicom
- Responsible for design and implementation of various SQL/access databases for project tracking, EDI partner and transaction setup, reporting, data rejections, processing problems, PO changes, all to
aid the users in doing various tasks faster, with fewer errors, and without paper reports
- Gained Substantial AS/400 RPG & CLP programming, and operations experience
- Obtained experience with AS/400 software packages and tools including Computer Associates'
PRMS software, Progen programming tool, Abstract, DBU, SQL
- Obtained experience with numerous PC Software packages including MS Access, Excel, Visual Basic, SQL, Word, and Crystal Reports.
