Experience Details
Experienced AS400 resource, driven end to end execution of new development, maintenance and enhancements of legacy software and customization of ERPs(BPCS, PRMS and INFOR) for various companies and clients; starting from an individual contributor and with a growth path as a technical lead/ project manager.

I have been working on AS400 since year 1992. I started as a Developer in a renowned software consulting company ‘Systems & Software ‘ located in Mumbai, India as a developer I worked on various RPG, Cobol and SYNON projects.
In just couple of years I was promoted as a Project Lead; followed by Project Manager in the same company. My scope of work was widened to requirement gathering, estimation, technical and function specifications, test plans, code reviews along with development for small to mid size projects.
Joined ‘Wipro Technologies’ a well-known software company, in year 2002 as a Module Lead and got promotion as a project manager in year 2004.
My responsibilities included work allocation, resource management, Interviewing and training team, matrices calculations, productivity improvement for the client and communicating with all stakeholders.
Being strong technical resource along with the management work I was also involved in re-engineering of the system and performance improvement. As the projects were implemented successfully ; achieving over 25% of performance improvement; the company could bagged more projects from the client.
Followed by work experience with various other IT companies like Mphasis, GlobalNest Solutions and Birla Soft (KPIT).
Overall; my experience includes working with onsite and offshore modules and working at onsite locations like Al-Futtaim-Dubai, Mc-Cain –Belgium and VFO USA. In India as a part of offshore team; I have worked for renowned clients like Procter and Gamble, Johnson& Johnson, Ciba, Western Union, Bozzuto, Legrand, Scandia
During my entire tenure I have executed projects in ISO, CMMI or Agile frameworks.
Fully aware of Price and Project management concepts.
PM elite certified this is PMP equivalent certification for Wipro Technologies.
Participated in internal and external ISO , CMMI quality audits.
Recently also completed Scrum master certification from udemi
Executed Six-Sigma for process improvements as a green belt.
Experience working with retail clients like VF Outlet and Bozzuto USA
For VF outlet I was in USA for transition and preparing system maintenance technical document.
supported Bozzuto, USA- Wholesale warehouse/logistics distributors to enhance and maintain their home grown legacy systems and interfaces to warehouse management systems.
