I Chakravathi GR, hold  Master degree on Computer Science with 20+ years working experience on IBMi platform associated with these organizations (TCS – 1.5yrs, JPMorgan Chase – 6yrs, HSBC -5.5yrs,  Bally Technologies – 1.5yrs and Valtech – 5+yrs (as  IBMi Senior Technical Architect for their esteemed project account Louis Vuitton, Paris). IBMi is also known as AS400 or iSeries.


My Specialties

  • Architect, design and development of the following projects:
    • Big Data or Distributed Relational Data Base application on IBMi.
    • Digital, Browser and Green Screen based multi-lingual (Japanese, Chinese, Korea, French, German…)application on IBMi.
    • Application support features as email sending, generating receipts, graphs and charts as PDF
    • Interfaces using webservices (as consumer and service provider), TCP/IP based programming (SSL and non-SSL), SQL procedure, Java and MQ Series using XML, JSON, formatted text as medium of data interchange format.
  • Application and SQL performance turning for high volume DataBase
  • Programming languages worked with are RPGLE, RPGIV, RPG, CLLE, Java, SQL, SQL-XML programming on IBMi and Java, C, C++ on UNIX.
  • Scripting languages JavaScript, VB Script and HTML were used in developing internet / browser based application.
  • Banking domain applications have developed / supported / worked with banking products such as Time Deposits, Foreign Exchange, Payments, Demand Deposits, General Ledger, Hire Purchase and Leasing.
  • Retail domain application have design / developed / supported Point of Sale (PoS), interfaces (fiscal reporting, fiscal printing, payment terminals, shopper display, Duty free, Bar code generation and printing, invoice/receipt generation as PDF, Tax computation, communicating with support applications as WMS / SAP / JDE).
