I am currently looking for an RPG Programmer/Analyst position in the Charlotte area. My career includes over twenty years of experience as a detail-oriented, results-driven Programmer Analyst with 10 years expertise in AS/400 iSeries RPG programming in a Warehouse Management System. Effective in accurately gathering requirements from the customer, effectively designing solutions for the customer based upon their needs, quickly modifying existing RPG and CL programs, thoroughly testing changes to programs for quality development, diligently researching and resolving issues found by the customer, patiently training and mentoring entry level employees, and willingly assisting teammates with their workload when needed. Some of my accomplishments include: Provided AS/400 support and RPG programming to shipping departments throughout the US by researching causes and resolving issues on daily 24/7 on-call basis Successfully Reduced number of support calls by 50% by researching and resolving repetitive issues Productively telecommuted full time for most of my career by proving myself hard-working and effective at multi-tasking Developed an application to confidently email sensitive information in Sales Commission Reports and Invoices Developed a way to combine different backgrounds containing static information (overlays)for customs forms into a single email attachment or fax I recently relocated to the Charlotte area, so I currently am looking for an opportunity.
