Since 1986 I have played an active role in helping organizations achieve their objectives through the design and development of core business applications such as Health Insurance Policy Production system, Life/Health Underwriting system, and Work Management application;
design and development of a software framework used to create core business applications such as Policy Production, Medical Underwriting, Policy Terms, Agreements, Clauses, Product and Data management. My responsibilities included leading development team, performing Design/Code review, providing solutions for performance and database issues, and ongoing interaction with Users, QA and IT managers to ensure delivery and project success; Lead developer for software and database solutions in merger, migration, conversion, streamlining and re-engineering projects; I have trained and mentored over two hundred AS400 Cobol programmers, and continue to do so today (see https://www.cobol.ninja)
